General Overview:

This role is pivotal in overseeing the comprehensive infrastructure, which encompasses data center operations, networking devices, advanced security measures, and business continuity protocols.

Accountable for the management of critical applications essential to the college's operations, including but not limited to Active Directory, Exchange, and Blackboard.

This position requires a leadership style that is engaging and collaborative, with the ability to align departmental strategies with broader institutional goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate all operational functions of the technical services department, ensuring effective IT solutions that support vital business operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement cost-effective technological solutions.
  • Foster high-performing teams through effective coaching and management, emphasizing customer service and proactive problem-solving.
  • Oversee the research, design, and implementation of infrastructure and cybersecurity systems, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Continuously evaluate current and emerging technologies to meet the college's evolving needs.
  • Ensure adherence to technical service standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is essential.

Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team of technical professionals.

Experience in network infrastructure and information security is preferred, along with a strong background in supervising technical roles.


Clearances:

Successful candidates will be required to obtain necessary clearances as part of the employment process.
