Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered Adjunct Faculty member to join our Graduate Programs team at Lewis University. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic experience of our students, teaching courses in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Project Management, and Organizational Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses at the Romeoville (Main), Oak Brook, and/or Albuquerque campuses
  • Prepare course materials, syllabi, and update Blackboard course shells
  • Participate in required University and College activities, trainings, and certifications
  • Provide support and guidance to students
  • Cooperate with department chairs or other program faculty to ensure quality and consistency across the program
Requirements
  • Hold a doctoral degree in the same discipline or subfield
  • Have at least 18 additional hours of graduate credit in the discipline or subfield if the doctoral degree is not in the same discipline or subfield of the course being taught
  • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Successfully complete the Lewis University Online Teaching Certification Program
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a minimum of fifteen years in mid to senior management positions
  • Provide evidence of prior quality teaching and/or training experiences
  • Experience with Blackboard and hybrid delivery
