BridgePoint Associates is seeking a dynamic Chief Advancement Officer to lead the College Foundation and Institutional Advancement initiatives. This pivotal role is essential for driving the foundation's fundraising efforts and fostering robust relationships with donors, corporate partners, and the community.

The Chief Advancement Officer will oversee the complete fundraising lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of major gift donors, ensuring effective cultivation and stewardship of relationships with corporate sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a strategic fundraising program aligned with the college and foundation's objectives.
  • Manage the entire fundraising process for principal ($100k+) and major ($10k+) gift prospects.
  • Ensure exemplary stewardship and responsible utilization of donations.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and College President to set strategic goals for the Foundation.
  • Lead the Board of Directors, enhancing engagement, recruiting new members, and mentoring on fundraising and donor relations.
  • Oversee the financial operations of the Foundation, including asset management and operational budgeting.
  • Supervise grant submissions, both pre- and post-award.
  • Implement a comprehensive donor stewardship strategy.
  • Identify and engage corporate giving partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of five development professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven development experience, particularly in management roles; experience in higher education is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in securing six-figure gifts from individuals and corporations.
  • Ability to function as a frontline fundraiser while managing Foundation operations.
  • Exceptional team player, manager, and mentor.
  • Familiarity with grants and funding sources.
  • Experience with capital campaigns is beneficial.
  • CFRE certification is a plus.
