Your Skills and Expertise

  • Proficient in automation using multiple scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (IAM, ARM, Terraform, Chef).
  • Strong grasp of Cloud Computing and DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, etc.).
  • Skilled in building and operating monitoring, logging, and alerting services for distributed systems at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the scalability and resilience of complex environments.
  • Experience in implementing advanced observability practices at scale.
  • Proficient in using modern monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with configuration management and infrastructure management systems (Ansible, Chef, Docker, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS, AKS, EKS preferred).
  • Basic understanding of open-source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud technologies across providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud DevOps services (IAM, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS).
  • Working knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB/CouchDB/DynamoDB).
  • Experience with caching databases like Redis.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms (Kafka preferred).
  • Contribute to defining and implementing a comprehensive reliability and observability strategy to ensure system availability.
  • Integrate technical, procedural, and financial data to enhance efficiency and reduce operational toil.
  • Execute plans for technical standardization and process improvement within the engineering team.
  • Address engineering challenges related to hardware, software, networks, applications, and cloud services.
  • Mentor peers and development teams on building highly available systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish and maintain Non-Production and Production environment infrastructure and CI/CD initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing automation processes.
  • Monitor the health of production applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD issues effectively.
  • Collect and report operational metrics for SLA reporting and capacity planning.
  • Strong understanding of Unix-based operating systems (Linux).
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies in hybrid cloud environments.
