Job Title: Masters Level Clinician

At The Village for Families & Children, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Masters Level Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and families affected by trauma.

Job Summary

The Masters Level Clinician will provide direct services to clients, including comprehensive clinical assessments, engagement, and treatment planning. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, modifying them as needed during the course of treatment. Additionally, you will participate in peer consultation and quality assurance reviews, foster collaboration with other clinical and administrative staff, and contribute to program functioning by assuming responsibility for special tasks or leadership in special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement
  • Determine DSM V Diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor and Medical Director or designated Psychiatrist, as needed
  • Develop treatment plans and contracts for services
  • Implement treatment plans, modifying it as appropriate during the course of treatment
  • Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services
  • Provides case management services
  • Completes clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources
  • Participates and presents in Peer Consultation and Quality Assurance Reviews
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed-eligible counseling degree. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate clinical experience, with strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills for individual, family, and group therapy. Experience working with culturally diverse urban populations, a wide age range, and a variety of clinical presentations is highly desirable. The candidate should also possess knowledge of mental health, child welfare systems, and community resources, as well as the ability to write professional/clinical reports and correspondence.
