Job Title: Licensed Clinician

Join The Village for Families & Children, a leading provider of behavioral health services, as a Licensed Clinician. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to provide individual, group, and case management services to adults in our outpatient clinic and community-based settings.

About the Role:

We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about working with diverse populations, including those with severe and persistent mental/emotional illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. As a Licensed Clinician, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engage clients in treatment
  • Determine DSM V diagnosis in consultation with supervisor, Medical Director, Psychiatrist, or medical provider
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, modifying as needed
  • Provide case management services and link clients to community support services
  • Complete clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed counseling degree
  • State of CT license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience postgraduate in an outpatient setting
  • Bilingual/bicultural skills preferred
  • Cultural competency to serve a diverse population
