Job Summary

The Clinician provides direct services to clients in the office, school, or other identified settings to meet the unique needs of families served. This role requires a strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills for individual, family, and group therapy.

As a Clinician, you will work closely with a team of mental health professionals to provide intensive home-based services to children at risk for psychiatric hospitalization. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to support the well-being of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement.
  • Determines DSM V Diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor and Medical Director or designated Psychiatrist, as needed.
  • Develops treatment plans and contracts for services.
  • Implements treatment plans, modifying it as appropriate during treatment.
  • Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services.
  • Provides case management services.
  • Completes clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources.
  • Maintains productivity targets determined by service.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate clinical experience. The candidate should have strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills, as well as experience working with culturally diverse urban populations.

The successful candidate will be able to function independently and seek guidance when necessary. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals.
