Job Title: Assistant Manager

At Chico's FAS, we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in managing the sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources functions of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage and review time sheets for accuracy.
  • Promote customer service by ensuring associates are greeting and assisting customers.
  • Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, and reconciling cash receipts.
  • Model sales expectations by utilizing various techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
  • Maintain a visually appealing store and train associates on visual merchandising techniques.
  • Monitor associate sales activities and productivity, and motivate and train associates to achieve full potential.
  • Perform all financial activities effectively and in accordance with policy.
  • Administer all operational processes, including inventory receipt/dispatch and daily replenishment of floor merchandise levels.
  • Support compliance with all applicable laws, loss prevention policies, and operating procedures.
  • Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and development of store associates.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
