Job Summary

This role involves leading weapon systems acquisition activities, providing expert guidance and recommendations to shape acquisition strategies, and developing program documentation to support Request for Proposal, Milestone Decisions, and Acquisition Strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies, including artifact development and senior leadership-level briefing preparation.
  • Provide expert guidance on USAF weapon system management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee cost/schedule/technical execution of acquisition programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 years of experience in DoD weapon system management.
  • ACAT I/II/III Program Manager functions.
  • Knowledge in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • DAWIA certification.
  • Problem solving, critical and creative thinking, conflict resolution, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Clear and well-organized verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
