Role: Youth Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Technician

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr*
Pay Differential: $3.00/hr ($23/hr) for shifts from Friday 5pm to Sunday 10pm

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional therapeutic support to children aged 6-18 within a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
- Facilitate life skills training, coping strategies, and team-building exercises for each child.
- Promote physical, emotional, and behavioral development among youth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children in care while addressing their needs compassionately.
- Maintain thorough documentation as required.
- Engage in a collaborative learning environment that values teamwork, rewards excellence, and respects diversity.
- Available shifts include 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm, with a preference for weekend availability.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lead and engage a group of children in activities.
- Demonstrated commitment, integrity, and adaptability.
- Possess enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and patience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College coursework in social work, psychology, or related mental health fields from an accredited institution.
- Experience working with youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
