Job Summary:

NYX is seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Materials department, you will be responsible for managing all daily activities, ensuring seamless inventory management, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and complete Daily Materials & Plant Meeting files
Daily Shortage sheet for components - Inform Production before we run out and provide plan.
Cycle count review and investigation
Shortage DPP w/inventory
1st contact with supplier during crisis.
Weekly inventory validation file with Planners
Warehouse Layouts for components and WIP parts.
Resin Tracker Review
Freight Sheet review to see we are not getting multiple shipments in a week.
Plant walks with team in the morning.
Reviewing system Negatives and investigating
Dashboard inventory accuracy update - Daily
Assisting material Planners in release Questions.
MRP demand disruptions and escalation.
Review open issues with Manager.
Final check of batch parts before turning them in.
Daily Hold Area meeting.
Scrap reporting meeting with operations. MLD on Tuesday and Assembly on Monday.
Respond to Floor Concerns from Components, space allocations and solve ASAP.
Reach out to Production and Quality for all Mixed components Issues.
Coordinate with Planners on launch material (Component List comes from Manager).
Escalate all Launch activities to Manager Immediately.
BOM reviews on all new launch Tools.
Provide instructions to Materials Launch person for all Launch related activities

Requirements:

High School Graduate with 10 years experience in Automotive industry
or
Graduate with 5 years experience in Automotive industry
