Patient Access Coordinator ER

Maintains the highest standards of customer service excellence to ensure that staff performs all duties according to established customer service standards and that processes are developed to address overall or specific customer needs, modeling AIDET guidelines to drive positive patient interactions.

EDUCATION
High School or GED
2 year/Associate Degree (preferred)
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years
Other: Previous medical experience with patient access and/or business office functions required. Excellent customer Service experience required. Previous Manager experience preferred.
SKILLS
Organizational, Verbal, Interpersonal, Customer Relations, Mathematical, Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, Read/Comprehend written instructions, Follow verbal instructions, Computer-Knowledge of Microsoft Products required, Clerical-Operate 10-key calculator

Exposure to potential electrical shock, CRT (computer) monitor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work: Prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally.
