Role Summary:
As the Community Troop Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the formation of new troops within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and support girls and adult volunteers to establish newly formed community-based Girl Scout troops.
  • Coordinate and train troop volunteers to facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
  • Design and deliver enriching Girl Scout experiences for girls, including troop meetings.
  • Build relationships within the community and represent Girl Scouts at local events.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma and relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that equips you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the job's essential functions.
  • Experience working with youth is essential.
  • Familiarity with local school systems and community organizations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Availability during evenings and weekends is required, with a commitment of up to 19 hours per week.
