We are in search of a Sustainment Software Engineer to enhance our intelligence team. This role focuses on software development for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) integration, contributing to a significant PRIME CONTRACT that provides essential services and mission-critical operations across the organization.

Our mission is to support the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by delivering comprehensive life cycle support services, which include the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of enterprise corporate applications. These applications are vital for the daily operations of numerous users across various sectors such as acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy the Case Management & Tracking System (CMTS) into production, ensuring integration with an Audit Management COTS Technology while implementing necessary security measures.
  • Integrate, test, and launch the application for the auditing organization.
  • Adapt to and work with COTS products, developing a thorough understanding of the relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic, high-visibility team environment, participating in status and project meetings.
  • Utilize expertise in cshtml, Java, SQL, and API usage to develop, maintain, and enhance the audit application.
  • Ensure optimal operation and performance of the application through familiarity with Microsoft IIS, server administration, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Communicate project status effectively to various stakeholders with differing levels of subject matter knowledge.
  • Identify project dependencies, assess potential impacts, and propose contingency plans.
  • Conduct software upgrades, create test plans and procedures, and debug existing software to rectify defects.
  • Provide task estimates for project planning, contribute to Government roadmaps for the application, and prepare documentation such as user guides, system architecture, and security plans.

Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering, or sixteen (16) years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven proficiency in cshtml, Java, SQL, and API integration.
  • A strong desire to tackle challenges and become an expert in relevant products.
  • Experience in integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for software and computer systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience managing systems in virtual environments such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft IIS, server administration, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Confluence & Jira.
  • A proven track record of effective collaboration with government clients.
