Job Description

Wyetech is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems for our High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Integration: Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Implement Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) solutions and automate the installation, configuration, and deployment of software products, packages, and libraries using automation frameworks such as Ansible.
  • System Administration: Perform Linux System Administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, packages, and libraries.
  • CI/CD and Source Control: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins, as well as the Git Source Control System.
  • Containerization and Virtualization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and virtualization platforms.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash/Python), experience with Linux CLI, Linux System Administration, automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies.
Desired Skills:
  • HPC Technical Knowledge: General knowledge of HPC technical aspects, including compute, network, memory, and storage components.
  • Atlassian Tool Suite: Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
