Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely delivery of multiple assignments;
  • Contribute to team development through mentorship and recruitment efforts;
  • Assess geotechnical factors in projects involving earth structures and related systems;
  • Conduct risk evaluations and implement risk-informed strategies for dam safety;
  • Perform geotechnical site assessments and characterizations;
  • Engage in fieldwork, including site inspections;
  • Assist in business development by preparing proposals for new and existing clients;
  • Prepare engineering documentation, including reports, calculations, and specifications;
  • Deliver presentations and facilitate technical discussions with clients and colleagues;
  • Participate in health and safety training, including necessary medical monitoring.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline (required);
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred);
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration (preferred);
Experience and Skills
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with 8+ years preferred;
  • Proficiency in modeling and design software such as AUTOCAD, Slope/W, Sigma/W, FLAC, and ARCGIS (preferred);
  • Strong writing and communication abilities (required);
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (required);
  • Willingness to travel for fieldwork (required);
  • Active involvement in professional organizations (preferred);
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
