Irrigation System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team at Landscape East & West, a full-service landscape contractor based in the Portland Metro area.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing irrigation and lighting systems for residential customers throughout the Portland Metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties.
- Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers.
- Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience with irrigation systems (experience with residential systems is preferred).
- Backflow certificate for Oregon or ability to acquire one (HS diploma or GED required).
- Strong communication skills
- Tech Savvy and willing to learn new systems when needed
- Possess a valid and insurable driver's license
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to walk through maintenance accounts, through all types of terrain.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel & dig
- Able to drive company assigned vehicle and trailer.
This is a full-time position with a competitive wage package including medical insurance, 401k, and PTO.
Work Schedule:
Generally 7:00am – 5:30pm Tuesday – Friday.
