Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist for a long-term role with an organization based in Clackamas, OR that installs, upgrades, and repairs palletizing equipment throughout the United States and Canada.
This position requires frequent travel, with an estimated 75-90% of time spent on the road.
Compensation:
$30-$40/hr + overtime and per diem
Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions
- Accept assignments requiring both domestic and international travel (Canada), sometimes on short notice
- Complete work to customer satisfaction and obtain necessary approvals
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
- Assist in shop startups and technical phone support
- Communicate effectively with the Field Service Manager and team members regarding job progress and any issues
- Problem-solve and pay attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Travel safely and efficiently by air and car
- Familiarity with motion control applications, operator interface design, and safety circuitry
Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience with large capital equipment design and operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electromechanical systems experience
- Minimum of five years of electrical troubleshooting experience, particularly with control panel wiring and sensors
- Minimum three years of Allen Bradley PLC experience or equivalent
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite and ERP/MRP software
- Current Passport or ability to attain one
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Bend, stoop, twist, and squat occasionally
- Visual acuity to ensure quality and accuracy
