Vaco is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Manage vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Reconcile vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including invoices, vendor information, and payment history
- Assist with other projects and tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of three-way matching and general accounting procedures
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisor or manager role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating and managing complex spreadsheets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, colleagues, and management
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
