Job Description

Job Title: Client Service Associate

Job Summary:

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Associate to join our Branch office team in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a pressurized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service, including servicing clients, marketing, and scheduling meetings.
  • Manage database, general organizational support, and client interaction.
  • Assist participants with various needs, learn and adapt to service needs of various accounts, and develop knowledge of forms and account procedures.
  • Enhance relationships with advisors through timely and accurate responses to questions, and act with integrity and respect in all situations.
  • Oversee marketing efforts and special projects as assigned.
  • Interface and articulate well with employees, vendors, and clients in a highly professional, timely, and friendly manner.

Qualifications:

  • Some experience working in Finance/Broker-Dealer/Investment background is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or willingness to become licensed will be considered.
  • Must be a team player with a proactive, positive, problem-solving disposition.
  • Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Demonstrate strong accuracy and thoroughness in all facets of daily work.

Compensation:

The current base salary offered for this role is $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may include additional monthly incentive compensation and/or annual discretionary bonus.
