Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile both restricted and unrestricted donations utilizing Raiser's Edge Development software.
  • Gather and organize documentation necessary for governmental reporting on federal and private grants.
  • Prepare monthly draws for reimbursement of federal awards while ensuring adherence to federal regulations.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in the development and oversight of annual operating budgets for grants, along with forecasting activities.
  • Conduct financial data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including ad hoc reports.
  • Manage credit card transactions and perform account reconciliations.
  • Support audit preparations for program and fiscal year audits, collaborating closely with the Accounting Manager and CFO.
  • Code and enter invoices, oversee accounts payable checks, maintain record retention, and address vendor inquiries.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant with the processing of checks, cash receipts, and the creation of deposit logs.
  • Oversee petty cash and gift card management as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in grants management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Financial Software (e.g., Blackbaud Financial Edge), and internet research capabilities.
