About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Summerdale, Pennsylvania. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess clients' physical needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate clients' mobility, strength, and balance.
  • Implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote clients' independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and revise care plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and instruction to clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for optimal health and safety.
Requirements
  • A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
