Job Summary

Candidates will work with transformers, semiconductors, microprocessors, and transistors. Magnetic components consist of wire or foil wound onto a core, bobbin, or mandrel, with or without insulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions.
  • Able to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, Vernier's, and formulas.
  • Mechanical aptitude - able to use and operate power tools, i.e., band saw, shear, hydraulic press, hydraulic bender, drill press, table disk sander, etc.
  • Able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
  • Perform general housekeeping as required.
  • Regular in attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Willing to attend classes/training to improve basic skills and non-essential functions.
  • Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to see, have good perception, and distinguish between colors.
  • Able to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
  • Have good strength and be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
  • Quick hand and arm movement, or the movement of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas, both written and verbally so others will understand.
  • Have a valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.
  • Able to travel on short notice by public transportation, including aircraft, trains, bus, cars, domestically and internationally.
Requirements
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Inductotherm Corp. hiring process requirements, which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.
  • Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces, or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
