  • Incorporate motivational prompts in HMI interfaces to raise operator awareness and minimize machine idle time.
  • Provide expertise as a PLC Programming Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor for engineering and maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee new product launches and Engineering Change Requests as Project Lead.
  • Conduct inspections for tool shop contract work to ensure adherence to programming protocols.
  • Evaluate PLC programming to discover potential cost-saving and efficiency enhancement opportunities.
  • Support production in achieving quality standards, efficiency targets, and safety compliance.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and engage in ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize PLC programming skills, monitor equipment performance, implement new technologies, and refine control systems for better cycle times.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, Studio 5000, RS Linx, C-more EA 9, COHERIX, Power Flex, Panel View, Bosch 6000, IPG Laser Net, and RLSK Studio is essential.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controls Engineer role or a similar position.
