Medical Access Ambassador Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Access Ambassador to join our team at the Lynn Community Health Center. As a key member of our Health Center team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Pre-Registration: Complete scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification tasks in accordance with Lynn Community Health Center standards.
  • Team Support: Contribute to the team effort by supporting all team members and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • New Staff Orientation: Welcome new Pre-Registration staff to the team by assisting with their orientation and mentoring them as requested.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties deemed necessary or appropriate by the Manager to ensure efficient workflow within the department.
  • Department Meetings: Attend monthly department meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma required.
  • Medical Terminology: Completion of medical terminology training.
  • Registration and Insurance Knowledge: Basic comprehension of registration, insurance types, and referral process.
  • Attendance and Attitude: History of good attendance and positive work attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Pleasant telephone manner, good memory, and patience.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and detail-oriented with ability to work effectively under hectic circumstances.
