Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in Lynn, Massachusetts.

This part-time position requires a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of chemistry and hematology laboratory principles, including urinalysis and urine microscopy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of manual and automated laboratory procedures, utilizing independent judgment and maintaining responsibility for assigned duties.
  • Be familiar with all phases of the chemistry and hematology laboratory, including urinalysis and urine microscopy.
  • Be computer literate and have a basic understanding of computer interfaces.
  • Be familiar with specimen processing protocols for both inpatient and outpatient procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Associates Degree program in laboratory medicine or medical laboratory technology, or Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field.
  • MT(ASCP), BB(ASCP), H(ASCP), C(ASCP), M(ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
