Sterile Service Technician

Job Summary:
Sterile service technicians play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of medical equipment. As a sterile service technician at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing reusable medical equipment. This includes operating sterrad and autoclaves, managing case cart systems, and answering phones.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment to ensure it is free from contamination
- Operate sterrad and autoclave equipment to sterilize medical equipment
- Manage case cart systems to ensure efficient and effective use of equipment
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries from staff and patients
- Work collaboratively with other sterile service technicians to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Certification in sterile processing is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
