Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician - Member Service Specialist at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions. You will also be responsible for operating hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processing member purchases, and assisting in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
You will also be responsible for providing pharmacy products and services to members in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies and merchandise, entering prescription information or filing prescriptions, and completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and other required documentation.
In addition, you will be responsible for completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
You will also be responsible for complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid pharmacy technician certification. Preferred qualifications include previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related field.
