Job Summary

As a Surgical Technician at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, you will play a vital role in the operating room team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the operating room for cleanliness and prepare equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in transferring and positioning patients in the operating room.
• Anticipate the instrument and supply needs of the surgeon during operative procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of OR Technician training.
• BLS and OR Technician certification required.
• One (1) year of scrub experience preferred.
