Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Greene Resources. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on hydraulic systems, tire machines, and axle machines to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and take proactive measures to prevent them.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, tire machines, and axle machines, including their operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, maintenance equipment, and hand tools to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the maintenance field, including OSHA guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repair techniques to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
