Edwards Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical care and support to patients in the operating room and assist with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
- Provide medical care within the PA scope of practice, including history and physicals, invasive procedures, progress notes, and imaging and laboratory result evaluation.
- Function as a communication liaison between patients, families, consultants, and multi-professional teammates.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all office staff.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Texas Physician Assistant license.
- Certified through the NCCPA.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a PA in the operating room, with a preference for surgery experience.
