Surgical Imaging Technologist

to become a vital member of our

Imaging

team.

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with some variability expected.

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation of 4-5 shifts monthly.

Eligible candidates may receive a Sign-On Bonus.

Position Overview:


The Surgical Imaging Technologist will be tasked with preparing sterile trays and assisting radiologists during various procedures, including myelograms, arthrograms, aspirations, and steroid injections.

This role also involves performing urgent X-rays from the Emergency Department and inpatient areas, as well as routine X-rays as needed.

The Imaging department operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the technologist to be adaptable, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain effective communication while fostering a positive atmosphere.

- Professional verbal and non-verbal communication
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- AART Registered in Radiology
- Familiarity with equipment such as C-arm (large and mini), O-arm, and Portable Digital Equipment is preferred.
- Current BLS certification
- Active Texas state license from the Texas Medical Board
- Preferred 3 years of hospital experience
- Knowledge of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
