Job Overview

Vets Hired is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and development teams to gather and define functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Business Process Modeling: Develop and maintain business process models, including as-is and to-be scenarios, to ensure a clear understanding of business processes.
  • Requirements Visualization: Create UI mockups, wireframes, and flow diagrams to effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders.
  • Business Rules Analysis: Analyze and define business rules and validations to capture all use cases and business scenarios.
  • Agile Project Coordination: Facilitate JAD sessions, demos, and sprint planning to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Requirements Documentation: Develop and maintain requirements documentation in team wikis and update project RTMs to keep requirements current.
  • Product Owner Liaison: Collaborate with Product Owners to identify and shape priorities, ensuring they are properly incorporated into future sprints.
  • Requirements Traceability: Perform gap analyses for requirements completeness and quality.

  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation and business process modeling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and tools, such as JIRA.
  • Ability to analyze and define business rules and validations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
