We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at T-Rex Solutions. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the IRS IT Applications Development (AD) Data Delivery Services (DDS) organization's data modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze the current BI portfolio and create a release plan to transition on-prem data and business intelligence (BI) processing to a new cloud-based platform called the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business needs and objectives, and work closely with technical teams to ensure that relevant processes are optimized, effective, and meet customer requirements.
- Assist in providing client meeting and deliverable support as required, and define and document solution requirements.
- Support data modernization activities and help identify relevant delivery risks.
- 3+ years of experience working with clients and client deliverables on tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience identifying business needs and activities and ensuring that relevant processes are optimized, effective, and meet customer requirements.
- 2-4 years of experience working on projects of similar size and scope.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active IRS Security Clearance required.
- Experience with IBM Mainframe.
- Experience with QSAM (flat) file structures.
- Experience with noSQL or SQL databases.
- Experience in conducting Integration and Acceptance testing, as well as in creating comprehensive test cases, test strategies, and test plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
