About the Role: As an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the outreach team by working with program trade allies, including distributors, manufacturers, contractors, and other stakeholders in maximizing their participation in utility energy efficiency rebate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate and Assist Trade Allies: Educate and assist trade allies and utility customers with program participation by answering program questions, reviewing project blueprints and equipment specifications, and providing guidance on the application process.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide reliable and responsive customer service to trade allies, customers, and utility representatives.
- Project Screening and Management: Proactively screen and manage incoming projects to ensure project integrity and compliance with program requirements.
- Project Information Management: Request and obtain appropriate project information that facilitates quick and timely project application processing.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively and communicate well with the team during the project review process resulting in a smooth and efficient application submission process.
- Project Closure and Completion: Closely manage projects that begin to stagnate and take appropriate action and steps to complete or close the project after considering size, viability, timeline, etc.
- Site Visits and Inspections: Visit customer sites to inspect projects for program compliance.
- Communication Tracking: Track trade ally and project communications using Salesforce CRM.
- Administrative Tasks: Administrative tasks and other reporting duties will also be required, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree and/or 2+ years of work experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction industry and familiarity in reading blueprints. Understanding of commercial building systems (particularly lighting and HVAC) and/or sustainability is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, writing, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel and Word and the ability to learn and operate company proprietary computer software is required.
- Transportation: Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and have a personal vehicle to visit customer sites.
