Job Title: Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of projects in our Electrical Construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Plan and schedule purchases, reviewing submittals, estimates, and requisitions.
  • Maintain project and company trackers, including the Project Log, Procurement, and Staff List.
  • Confer with vendors to obtain part and equipment information, including price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Coordinate with customers, general contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project requirements and schedule.
  • Work with the BIM team and field team on design assist and field routings.
  • Place orders for correctly specified parts and equipment, delivered to the right job sites, and on the correct dates as needed.
  • Determine the method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid.
  • Issue purchase orders for material and subcontract labor.
  • Track purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
  • Keep customers and vendors informed of changes and status updates.
  • Organize warehouse and track material received.
  • Prepare purchase orders or bid requests.
  • Review quotations and negotiate contract terms within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Update project schedule based on GC schedule updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the I&E or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
