Job Summary

This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries and lead requests for groups within predefined Group Sales parameters. The ideal candidate will work with customers to align their preferences with brand needs, actively up-sell each business opportunity to maximize revenues and drive customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handles customer inquiries and leads requests for groups (e.g., Full Service and MSB, 10-99 peak room nights)
  • Responds in a timely manner to incoming group/catering opportunities that are within predefined Group Sales parameters
  • Works with customers to align customer preferences with brand needs and actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenues and drive customer loyalty
  • Verifies that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required

Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $20-$34 per hour, with the potential for a quarterly bonus. Location

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of National Harbor, MD. This posting supports the U.S. Group Sales Office as a full-time position with workplace flexibility including weekday evening and/or weekend schedules.
