Community Education Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Girl Scout program in designated schools.
  • Recruit and mentor community volunteers to enhance program delivery.
  • Partner with schools and local organizations to elevate the visibility of Girl Scouts and the opportunities available for girls.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, supporting their success and acknowledging their contributions.
  • Assist with Council strategic initiatives, including ongoing recruitment efforts, product programs, outdoor experiences, and fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position is acceptable. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in volunteer recruitment, sales, and management is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to foster positive relationships within the community.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and a drive for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Availability to work 2-3 evenings per week and on weekends.
