- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks.
- Provide recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems and internal controls.
- Collaborate with IT staff and other stakeholders to implement audit recommendations and improve information systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information systems auditing and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 9 credit hours of accounting coursework.
- Experience in data analytics auditing, information systems, programming, or technology auditing.
- Proficiency in Banner and other IT systems.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CFE, or CPA preferred.
