Electronic Systems Specialist

As a Signal Support Systems Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of information within military units. Your responsibilities will include integrating signal systems and networks, performing signal support functions, and maintaining authorized signal equipment.
Advanced team members will supervise and train other Soldiers, maintain and install signal support systems, and provide technical assistance and training for automation and communications equipment. You will also prepare maintenance and supply requests for unit-level signal support and operate and perform preventative maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain radio and data distribution systems
- Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
- Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
- Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators

Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
