The Information Systems Auditor will conduct information system and operational audits or consultations to provide assurance that internal controls are adequate and effective. The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed evaluations and internal control reviews of computer information systems.
  • Perform financial, compliance, operational, and investigative audits as assigned.
  • Assist the university in meeting its strategic goals and objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in data analytics auditing, information systems, programming, technology auditing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Banner and knowledge of frameworks and guidance such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO.
  • Preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
