Job Title: Security Alarm Field Technician

We are seeking an experienced Security Alarm Field Technician to join our team at Interface Systems. As a Security Alarm Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security alarm systems, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain security alarm systems, including intrusion, fire, and video surveillance systems.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with security alarm systems, including network and VoIP integrated systems.
  • Train customers on the use and maintenance of security alarm systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and submit documentation as required.
  • Install and terminate network and security cabling, including firestopping various types of cable penetrations.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and end-users to coordinate projects and service requests.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle and tools, and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with vocational/technical/business school preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass applicable state and federal background checks.
  • NICET certification and verifiable field experience in the electronic security industry.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings, and comprehend standard telecom, data, security, and wireless systems practices.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical demands include finger and wrist dexterity, heavy physical effort, and ability to work from heights.
