Nurse-Midwifery Program Leader

As a key member of the George Fox University Faculty, we are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Director of our Nurse-Midwifery Program. This is a full-time, 11-month position that requires strong leadership and administrative skills, with a passion for education and midwifery.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the nurse-midwifery program, ensuring its alignment with accreditation standards and university goals.
- Develop and oversee curriculum that meets accreditation requirements, incorporating adult learning principles and simulation experience when possible.
- Teach didactic and clinical courses as able, utilizing expertise in CNM practice and related professional issues.
This is a resident/in-person faculty position located at our Portland Center Campus (Tigard, OR). A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year reflects the importance of this role in advancing our educational mission. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant Professor level, with opportunities for growth and development within the university.
Requirements:- An active unencumbered Oregon APRN license and current national AMCB certification are essential.
- Additionally, an earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution and experience in teaching and learning principles for adult education are required.
