Ambulatory Care Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse Leader to join our team at Providence Family Medicine-SE Portland Eastport Plaza.
About the RoleThe Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor plays a crucial role in guiding clinical staff performance and implementing best practices in nursing. As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and ensuring high standards of patient care in an ambulatory setting.
This role requires a commitment to patient-focused care and team collaboration, supporting a culture where caregivers thrive and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of clinical staff performance and implementation of best practices in nursing
- Coaching and mentoring of clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Development and implementation of clinical education programs for clinical support staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing or equivalent educ/experience
- An Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 3 years - RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program
- Experience working in an ambulatory setting
- 3 years - Demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation
- 3 years - Experience providing patient education
