We are seeking a Women's Health Specialist to join our team at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

This full-time position is responsible for performing nurse midwifery duties and working closely with physicians and other staff to ensure the health of patients.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN/MSN and successful completion of a nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACME, as well as active State of Maine Nursing License for RN and APRN-CNM.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.

About the Role:

  • Perform nurse midwifery duties, including prenatal education and support, coaching during pregnancy and delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Successful completion of a nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACME.
  • Active State of Maine Nursing License for RN and APRN-CNM.
  • Certification by AMCB.
  • Active DEA License.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional nurse midwifery experience.
