Job Summary

As a key member of the Marriott Hotels & Resorts team, the Sous Chef plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our daily kitchen operations. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and expectations of our guests.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
