Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and visitors. This is a part-time position working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 8pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to non-emergency calls for service and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support emergency responses under the direction of an EMR Officer/Supervisor.
  • Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
  • Provide parking passes, maps, and instructions to visitors.
  • Document all visitors and vendors/contractors via the standard Gatehouse log.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other.
  • Ability to document daily activities in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to safely operate Security vehicles.
  • Ability to work with computer systems.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
