DaVita is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for delivering compassionate care in a hospital setting. As a Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential complications, and develop strategies to prevent or manage them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus.
