Salary: $95,000 per year
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring precision and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate financial data to detect trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
  • Implement and uphold internal controls to protect company assets and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Assist in external audits and tax submissions, ensuring timely and precise filings.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and accounting standards to guarantee compliance and best practices.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management, recommending strategies to reduce costs and increase revenue.
  • Review financial statements for inconsistencies and notify the Controller as necessary.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in the development and assessment of budgets, preparing comprehensive budget reports.
  • Prepare federal, state, local, and specialized tax returns.
  • Contribute to the creation of new or revised accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred (3 years).
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control is advantageous.
