Position Overview
We are seeking a Manager of eCOA Operations within our Global Clinical Trial Management team, overseeing specialists across various therapeutic areas and research phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the resourcing, performance, training, and career development of eCOA Operations Specialists.
- Act as a member of the Department Leadership Team, focusing on the growth, accountability, and success of team members.
- Lead or participate in departmental process improvements and cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with various teams.
Team Leadership
- Manage the workload of direct reports and contribute to resource allocation decisions to ensure optimal work assignments.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and monitor individual career development plans.
- Conduct performance management activities, including regular check-ins and annual evaluations.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify individual development needs and provide coaching for success.
- Participate in compensation discussions and oversee the onboarding process, including task-specific training.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance departmental processes and share lessons learned in people management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, particularly in clinical trial, data, or technology management.
- Proven experience in line management, including talent identification, development, and performance management.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and BMS policies.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent project management and planning skills, with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
